Awful. Poor colour representation which may as well be monochrome (green hedges are all grey). Picture quality is OK from within the room but installed outside with receiver inside through cavity wall, quality drops off significantly. Now looking for better quality wired cameras instead.

This cctv camera is currently conected to a tv upstairs and the camera itself is downstairs at my front door. This camera is superb, do not hesitate to buy it. The signal is fab as well as the picture and it has great nightvision. For the elderly and infirm this would be great, to see who's knocking.

I personally use it for a deterrent and to see whether the door is worth answering (salesmen ect). very stylish, sleek and modern. Great for someone who wants thier security camera to be noticed.

Maplin delivery is amazing too. I ordered it on a thursday noon, and it came by friday 11am. very impressed by the camera, and the customer satisfaction Maplin have provided. Fab product.

Cracking service, ordered on the friday came on the saturday morning, easy to set up, very sturdy design, good reception power lead for the camera is a good length 3.39m makes camera placement much easier. all in all a cracking camera

I needed a cctv to keep an eye over my stables, especially at night & as we'd already had an intruder on a previous occasion, it seemed a sensible idea. A wired camera was not an option as the stables are remote from the house so wireless was the only option. All in all a cracking little camera, good picture quality at a range of approx 80m camera to receiver. Night vision range is not much at 10m so I supplemented with an IR illuminator. Now 40m viewing at night is easily achieved.

Q: Does it run from the supplied mains power supply or can I use the 12V battery for a completely wire-free solution?
