Newly re-designed from the ground up, the Power Amp 1000 is the new upgraded replacement for the previous ProSound 1000. The ProSound power amp 1000 offers performance suitable for most medium to large size venues when coupled with a pair of suitable speakers such as the ProSound 12-inch loudspeakers (Order Code: N93FN) which are a perfect match.
New features include Bridge Mode which allows both stereo outputs to be linked to give a single powerful mono output, ideal for powering a subwoofer. Also a new upgraded cooling system is included to keep the amp working at the optimal temperature. Full protection for speaker connection short circuits is included with a front panel warning light and reset switch to allow resumption of operation after a short, no more glass fuses to replace.

Q- Can this amp work fine with the prosound 500watt speakers? because we only had 400watt versions and it blew the speakers up! or was that because we was running them at 4ohms instead of 8?

Answer- You would be better served running either active subwoofers alongside the existing setup or using a separate amp, subs and a crossover to ensure correct performance.
