The hard drive is installed on the under-side of the DTR and simply screws in.

This model is not compatible with Videoplus+ and cannot access the digital text services.

Trouble Shooting Guide

Jerky/intermittent playback
Please make sure the Jumper on the Hard Drive is set to Master

Does not record anything. You can see the channels, but when recording, it records a blank screen
This means the RF Loop cable has not been inserted. Instructions for this can be found on Page 7 of the manual provided

No Teletext
Teletext is not broadcast on UK Digital TV. There are such services broadcast which could be mistaken for this, such as Digital Teletext which is broadcast over Interactive Services (Red Button etc). Receivers that can receive these services are MHEG5 compliant, whereas this Receiver is not
