To transmit, just plug into the RCA or SCART output port of a VCR, DVD or satellite. To receive, just plug into the RCA or SCART output port of TV or monitor. Plug one end of the power adaptor into the back of the transmitter and the other end into any 230-volt wall outlet. If you use transmitter or receiver with RCA plugs, the yellow, red and white plugs have to match the yellow, red and white ports of the VCR, DVD or satellite.

I have sky plus in the living room. I want it in my bedroom. will this item work?

Yes the product does support that.

I currently have a scart to phono socket lead across my living room to play my television through my hifi amplifier and speakers. Could this type of arrangement be used to make this wireless? Thanks Andrew Allison

As long as all the leads connect as you previously had them (but without the length of cable) yes

Can this unit send audio signals only, via a scart to phono adapter?

This is not something we have tried to be honest but we can see no technical reason why you couldn't

i have a freeview tv in my living room , how can i get a signal to a second set in my bedroom that is not connected to an outside aerial

This would work fine for that purpose.

I can see from your photos that the transmitter unit needs to be plugged into an electricity socket but can you confirm that the receiver unit will receive all its power from the TV scart socket and doesn''t need to be connected to any seperate electicity source.

Both units would require DC power

Does the 2nd TV still need connecting to an ariel point?

No, not unless you wish to watch something other than the transmitted device.

Could I replace my TV ariel connection to and from my BT vision box with this product thus losing the wires?

No sorry this product does not support that.

How many receivers can be run from 1 transmitor

All receiver simply "see" the signal as long as they are in range, therefore there is no limit.

can you watch a satellite programme on one tv and another one channel on another tv

Am I able to watch a different channel on the receiving TV to the transmitting TV? Am I able to change channels using the remote control from the receiving TV or must I go and change the channel on the transmitting TV?

This is just a SCART lead without wires so you will be watching the same picture I'm afraid.

If someone else is using another 2.45GHz sender next door will this one be affected by theirs? Does it transmit stereo sound?

There are 4 channels to choose from so you can select another channel to prevent interference. Yes it transmits and recieves stereo audio

I have BT BROADBAND and their BT vision freeview box with built in hard drive TV recorder. Would this product work with this freeview box?

Yes the product does support that.

Can I use this to send a satellite signal from the box to a second room and change the channels in the second room.

Yes the product does support that.

Will this work with a cable box?

For video and audio yes. As for the remote capability we could noty guarantee it as many cable boxes use remote technology known as IRDA which is not compatible with most remote relays in wireless senders (including this one).
