Frequently Asked Questions
Q- Can a bridge rectifier be utilised to automatically switch the polarity and if so which type would be suitable?
- Mike
Answer- Yes the product does support that.
Q- Would the KBPC3501 be able to convert 30v A/c to d/c at 10 amps
- J Thomas
Answer- The 10Amps would be covered but you must multiply the 30vac by 1.41 to get the DC voltage.(in this case 42.3volts DC would be the result)
Q- Will this be okay to convert 28VAC to input the DC needed on a N04CG (your product code) Constant Current LED?
- Steve
Answer- No sorry this product does not support that.
Q- I wish to operate an underfloor heating system, which normally operates on 240VAC, on DC instead, to avoid the EMFs radiated by the heating wires in AC operation. The load is about 3 KW, ie about 30 A. Would the KBPC2504 be suitable?
- David Noton
Answer- Rectifier has a 35A rating.
Q- I have an Evinrude 15 outboard engine. the previous owner cut off the rectifier. The charging unit has three wires going from it, it produces 12+ AC voltage. I require a ''Bridge Rectifier'' to change the voltage to 12 volt DC so that I can charge my boat 12 volt DC battery. Can you help?
- Paul Stein
Answer- Three phase alternator on these, nothing that we stock I'm afraid.
Q- Bridge rectifier AQ98G
Please explain "Max VF per diode" in the spec sheet.
Thanks
- J.West
Answer- Inside a Bridge rectifier there are 4 diodes. the Max VF per diode is the maximum forward voltage per diode.
