Works well in smallish rooms.. but in a hall or sports hall the tracks keep 'clipping' & sometimes cutting out completely. Really disappointed after a good start in a small room. I'm about to send back & unfortunately will have to upgrade.

moderator note: the unit is a single speaker pa system designed for small mobile use with a 50W peak rated speaker. Expecting a unit of this size to be suitable for playing music loudly in a "large" sports hall is not realistic (thus why the unit is having to be driven too hard which is causing the unit to clip). It is recommended to consider the intended use of an item before purchasing. It is very hard to find portable PAs which will be able to provide the required sound level in a larger venue. Items such as our actual full PA systems may be a more realistic option or possibly the larger mobile PA kits such as our order code N94JG for example.

i bought it for an upgrade as i have a tailgator and it is better than the tailgator

Fantastic product. Works well with my iPhone 3GS and even charges it. Battery lasts for hours. Sound quality is superb. Build quality is very good. I've tried every input and the sound quality is superb from all of them.

Used on a regular basis, and proved well worth the purchase. Used at various locations where there wan't any power and played for hours on a single charge. Sound effect is good and clear but doesn't compare to an expensive D.J. System, ideal for small venues, supplied with a microphone so your up and running in not as a sound amp. At the time of submitting this review my Block Rocker isn't charging but this can be resolved and get it charging again.

I was very impressed with the build quality and volume level of this unit. It even works with an iPhone! Ideal for BBQs or taking on your travels, and from a single charge we had it playing all day!
