Camcaddy is a versatile cradle that powers virtually every type of camera battery. Whether a compact digital, SLR or video camera – Camcaddy does the lot! Its intelligent electronics will automatically detect whether the battery requires a 3.2V input (for compact digital) or 7.2V (for SLRs etc). Simply select the required power supply (in-car or mains: both supplied) for instant charging. Please note: CamCaddy is designed to power block batteries that can be removed from a camera. It cannot accept camera batteries that require blade contacts or AA/AAA rechargeable batteries. Only batteries under 5V can be charged if connected to a PC/laptop or the original FreeLoader solar charger. Intelligent information: CamCaddy’s LEDs give a clear indication of battery charge status – press the silver power button to indicate the level of charge, from 25% to 100%. Camcaddy gives a clear a warning (red LED) if a battery has been inserted the wrong way (i.e positive to negative and negative to positive) – thus ensuring battery damage is not caused by a reverse polarity connection.
