Can I change my delivery address once my order has been submitted online?

Unfortunately once you have submitted your order you will be unable to change delivery address.

International Delivery

Online orders can be shipped to anywhere in the UK, Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland, unfortunately we cannot ship to locations other than these at present.

Delivery Cancellations

You are unable to cancel deliveries once orders have been dispatched and any unwanted goods will need to be returned. On receipt of the delivery please contact Customer Service team to arrange for a returns authorisation reference number. You are entitled to a refund as long as you inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 calendar days from the day after the delivery of goods. 

You may also use the cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

How do I track my Delivery?

Orders which have been sent by one of our courier partners can be tracked using the relevant courier web site:

 

 

Note: Royal Mail standard delivery is not available for tracking. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery of standard Royal Mail postal deliveries.

What happens to my order if I am not there to receive my parcel?

If there is no one to receive your parcel, whether it is being delivered by Royal Mail or by courier, a card will be posted through your door advising of a delivery attempt. There will be a contact telephone number on there for your local branch. If you telephone the number on the card you will be able to re-book a delivery day, or arrange to pick the parcel up from the depot.

How To Order From BFPO Addresses?

If your BFPO address is in Northern Ireland you must use the ordinary inland prices, but if your BFPO address is elsewhere in the world you will not have to pay VAT but an order charge will be applied. However if any item is too large or heavy for despatch by BFPO you must supply a civilian address and pay extra for carriage at cost.

Do I have to be there to sign for my delivery?

Orders sent via Royal Mail will not require a signature although someone may need to be home to accept the delivery should the packaging be too large to post. Deliveries made by courier will always require a signature.

Can I have a separate delivery address to my billing address?

The Address you gave when you first registered your Maplin account online is your invoice or card holder address. You may change your delivery address after your first order, but your invoice or card holder address must always match the address registered to any card you use on this site. To amend your delivery details you first need to be logged into your account.

There is a discrepancy with my delivery

Should you have any query regarding the delivery of your order, this should be made to Maplin within 30 calendar days after your order/despatch or from receiving a credit account statement.

Should you need to contact us with regard to the contents of your order, whether you have missing, incorrect or faulty goods, please contact us. We have a 365 day product quality 'no quibble guarantee' (proof of purchase required). Should your product experience a fault, simply return it within a year for an exchange, credit note or full refund.

 


 

Unfortunately at this moment in time we are unable to deliver to outside the UK / Republic of Ireland

 We use the following delivery partners – Yodel, Hermes, Royal Mail, UK Mail & Parcel Force (excluding items delivered by an external warehouse). Specific couriers are unable to be requested and as such are send based on an availability and service area schedule.

*We will confirm to you by email and text message when the store has reserved the items for you. Reserved items will be held at the store for 7 days after you receive notification. If the store is closed your request won't be processed until the next time they're open.
