Reserve at Store with Maplin   Release date 15:00 GMT Wednesday 11th May 2011   As of today Maplin is proud to announce the UK launch of its reserve at store facility which can be accessed through the website, mobile and iPhone Shopping App.

Customers can check stock availability, the latest prices and reserve products to be collected from their choice of Maplin stores. The reserved products will be available for the customer to collect within 20 minutes of placing the order up until the end of the next working day. Confirmation of the reservation will be sent via SMS or email.

Customers simply take the reservation number into the nominated store to pay and collect the reserved items. The Marketing Director commented: “Reserve at Store is a quick, easy and a hassle free way of shopping which helps our customers get the products they want, when they want them. This launch further strengthens our multi-channel capabilities and meets the needs expressed by our customers” Over 15,000 products are available for customers to reserve. Any item not in stock at their local store that day can be ordered from the Maplin warehouse to collect from their local store within 3 working days.
