How do I log into My Account ?

To view your account online, all you need to do is to click on the 'My Account' tab at the top of the maplin.co.uk site

You will then be taken to the login page, where you may enter your details and click on the login button you will be taken to Your Account. If you need help on logging in please click here

If you have never registered on the maplin.co.uk site before you will need to do so before you can log in, for help on how to register please click here

If you are an existing customer with a customer number or a business account, but have never been online before, you will need to contact either the webmaster or customer services to set up your existing account for Internet access. For help on how to contact Maplin Electronics please click here

How do I view my wish list?

To view your wish list you would first need to log into your account. For help on how to do this click here. Once you have successfully logged in you are given a number of options.

Click the 'Add to Wishlist' option to be shown the products that you have previously added to your wishlist.

How do I add items to my Wish List?

Whilst browsing the maplin.co.uk site, and looking at product summaries you will be given the option to added a product to your wishlist. If you click on this symbol it will add the item to your wish list. The page will then refresh to your current wish list

How do I remove items from my wish list?

Visit the 'My Account' section of the site and select the 'Add to Wishlist' option.

Remove Selected Items

To remove only one or certain items from your wish list click the checkbox below the "Remove" text.

After selecting the products you wish to remove, scroll down the page and select the option "Remove selected item(s) from the wish list". The page will then refresh and display the remaining items in your wish list.

Remove All Items

To remove all of your items from you wish list click on the "Remove all items " option.

How do I add item(s) to my basket from my wish list?

Visit the 'My Account' section of the site and select the 'Add to Wishlist' option.

Enter the quantity for the items you would like in the boxes provided (If you leave these blank it will only add one of the product). Then click on any one of the red basket buttons. This will then add the items to your basket.

What is Auto Buy?

If you are a regular customer on this site and want to order your goods quickly, you may provide your credit card details in the Auto Buy section of "My Account". By creating a password that differs to your login password, you can log in to the checkout and have your card details entered automatically. Maplin Electronics do not send reminders for this password and cannot access them as the password will be encrypted for your Security.

Should you enter your password incorrectly three times when attempting a login, your details will be automatically deleted from the site. This is done for your protection, and you may delete your card details at any time.

If you have forgotten your password you may create your Auto Buy settings again by creating a new password and following the same procedure.

How do I register my details for Auto Buy?

To register you details you would first need to log into your account, for help on how to do this please click here. From the options you are given in the 'My Account' section click the 'Auto Buy' button.

You will now be asked to create a password and enter it again for confirmation. The password will need to be a minium of six characters in length, once you have done this click on the 'Go' button.

Fill in your card details and select 'save payment details'.

My Autobuy card details have changed how do I amend them?

To register you details you would first need to log into your account, for help on how to do this please click here. From the options you are given in the 'My Account' section click the 'Auto Buy' button.

Enter your Auto Buy password and click 'Go' to be taken to the

Once the page has loaded enter your Auto Buy password and click on 'Go' this will then take you to the Auto Buy page where you can amend your card details.

Follow the online prompts, and then click on change payment details. To confirm this a you will see a green message that appears saying 'Payment Details Updated.'

If you have forgotten your Auto Buy password you would need to re-register for the service. Maplin Electronics do not send reminders for this password and cannot access them as the password will be encrypted for your Security. For help on re-registering your details click here.

My invoice address has changed, how do I update my details?

The Address you gave when you first registered your Maplin account is your Invoice address. You may change your invoice address, but it must always match the address registered to any credit card you use on this site.

Follow the online prompts, when you have finished click on the 'Update Details'. Once it has been confirmed the page will refresh showing you new details.

Is there a way to view the history of my orders?

Yes, you can view the history of your orders with Maplin Electronics. To view this list you will firstly need to be logged into your account, for help with this please click here. Once logged in you will need to click on the 'Order History' button. The page will then refresh showing all of you previous orders with Maplin.

PLEASE NOTE: ORDERS OVER TWO YEARS OLD WILL BE REMOVED FROM YOUR ORDER HISTORY

You can also view, if any, refunds that have been issued to your account, and items you have ordered that were on promotion. You are also able to view where orders were delivered to, when they were dispatched, and what time they left the distribution centre.

If you click on the text that shows the time and date the item was dispatched, this is where you can find the delivery address, how many parcels were dispatched and the shipment method.

The Order History is where you can also re-order items that have been ordered previously. If you wish to re-order any items from your past orders, click the add to basket button at the side of the description.

How do I sign up to the Maplin Electronics Newsletter?

Every week we will send you our latest offers and savings. As a subscriber you will receive money-off vouchers which you can use at the checkout stage of the web site.

To subscribe to the Maplin Newsletter you would firstly need to be logged into your account. For help on login in please click here. Once you have logged in you need to click on the button which says 'Subscriptions' . The maplin.co.uk site will ask you to confirm your details, and which type of newsletter you would like to receive, html or text.

Once you have chosen your preferred format click on the Subscribe button and you will be added to the list.

How do I unsubscribe from the Newsletter?

How do I register for vouchers?

How do I claim my vouchers?

When you have received your newsletter through, if you receive the HTML format you will need to click on the link to claim you vouchers. Or if you have subscribed to the text newsletter you would need to copy and paste the voucher link in your browser and press return.

Once the page has loaded, you will be asked to log into your account, for help on this please click here Once you have logged on you will be taken to a new screen to claim them.

Click the submit button, to claim them. Once you have claimed your vouchers they will printed on your screen, you then have two options.

1. Use the vouchers printed below at a store or through a sales line.
2. Use the vouchers at the checkout stage of the web site, where they will be awaiting ready for you to select and use.

Where do I go to view my vouchers?


You can view your vouchers again by visiting the 'vouchers' section inside 'My account'.

Please note you can only claim ONE set of vouchers per newsletter and each voucher can only be used ONCE.

To view your current vouchers afterwards you can find them in 'My Account' under the Vouchers button. Click on the button and your vouchers will be displayed on the screen.
