delivery options are available?(All
of the delivery options are for UK only)
Maplin Electronics are able to offer the following
delivery options available to customers:
- Standard Delivery
- Next Working Day
- Guaranteed Next Working Day
- Saturday Before Noon

How
long does delivery normally take?(All
delivery times are for UK only)
Standard Delivery
Using standard delivery your order will be
with you in 3 - 5 working days in most cases.
Next Working Day
Providing your order is placed before 4pm
Monday to Friday you will be given the option to use the next
working day facility for delivery. Deliveries made using this
service will usually be made at any time up to 6pm.
PLEASE NOTE: FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS CANNOT CHOOSE
NEXT DAY DELIVERY ONLINE DUE TO SECURITY CHECKS. IF YOU WOULD
LIKE TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER THE NEXT DAY THEN YOU MAY TAKE ADVANTAGE
OF THIS SERVICE BY PLACING YOUR ORDER OVER THE TELEPHONE BEFORE
5PM.
Guaranteed Next Working Day
The guaranteed next working day delivery option
allows you to receive yourorder on the following weekday morning
before 10.30am. This option is unable after 5pm Monday to Friday
and on weekends.
PLEASE NOTE: FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS CANNOT CHOOSE
NEXT DAY DELIVERY ONLINE DUE TO SECURITY CHECKS. IF YOU WOULD
LIKE TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER THE NEXT DAY THEN YOU MAY TAKE ADVANTAGE
OF THIS SERVICE BY PLACING YOUR ORDER OVER THE TELEPHONE BEFORE
5PM.
Saturday Before Noon
Providing your order is placed before 12pm
(noon) on a Friday then you may be given the option to receive
delivery before noon on the following day (Saturday).
PLEASE NOTE: FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS CANNOT CHOOSE
NEXT DAY DELIVERY ONLINE DUE TO SECURITY CHECKS. IF YOU WOULD

much does delivery cost? (All delivery
costs are for the UK customers only)
Standard Delivery
If the total of your order is below £35.00
there will be a £2.99 delivery charge for all UK orders.
Delivery is free of charge when the order value is over £35.00.
Next Working Day
Next working day is charged at £10.00
Guaranteed Next Working Day
Guaranteed next day delivery is charged at
£13.50
Saturday Before Noon
Saturday before noon is charged at £15.00

Which
delivery company do maplin.co.uk use?
Maplin Electronics use two delivery services,
Royal
Mail and DHL.
Royal
Mail are used for all standard deliveries when the weight
of the package is under 1kg, otherwise should your order wiegh
over 1kg or you have chosen an alternative delivery option then
DHL
will be the carrier.

How
do I track my delivery?
You can only track you order only if it has
been sent via DHL. You will receive a confirmation email that
your order has been despatched in which you will be provided
with a twelve digit parcel number and a link to the DHL
website.
Choose your country from the list enter your
parcel number and click confirm. This will then give you an
idea of the where about's of your parcel.

I specify a delivery date?
Unfortunately this is
not a service that we are able to offer at present.

Do
I have to be there to sign for my delivery?
Orders sent via Royal
Mail will not require a signature although someone may need
to be home to accept the delivery should the packaging be too
large to post. Deliveries made by DHL will always require a
signature.
Your order confirmation e-mail will advise you of which company
will be making the delivery.

Can
I change my delivery address once my order has been submitted?
Once you have submitted
your order you will be unable to change delivery address.

What
happens to my order if I am not there to receive my parcel?
If there is no one to receive your parcel,
whether it being delivered by Royal Mail, or DHL a card will
be posted through your door advising of a delivery attempt.
There will be a contact telephone number
on there for your local branch. If you telephone the number
on the card you will be able to re-book a delivery day, or arrange
to pick the parcel up from the depot.

Can
I cancel a delivery?
Once you order has come through you would
be unable to cancel any delivery. You would need to take delivery
of your order first, and if the parcel is unwanted you will
need to contact Customer Services to arrange a suitable method
