Traffic updates

Finding your way isn’t just knowing the route, it’s also knowing the routes to avoid. TomTom offers you a way to keep up-to-date free for life using the latest traffic updates via the TMC Traffic Receiver. When the receiver is connected, your TomTom device can warn you of delays along your route and offer you a choice of the best re-routing options. Once a journey is planned, traffic alerts which relate to the route are clearly displayed in the traffic bar on the right hand side of the screen. When you tap the icon shown in the traffic bar, you will receive further information, such as the cause or kind of delay to traffic, such as an accident or traffic jam.

The TomTom Traffic service is currently available in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and selected regions in the United States and Canada.
