Sitting in long traffic queues, as you head to the coast or lost in the middle of the countryside should now be a thing of the past. Satellite Navigation has taken the pressure, guess work and frustration out of driving from A to B and can even route you around traffic jams.

Many types are available from the automotive even HGV versions to the outdoor pursuit and walker variety.

Sat Nav

Maps, stars and compasses have all been used to plan routes, so would Columbus actually have found the East Indies if he had been equipped with a Sat Nav. And would America remain undiscovered?

Seriously the Sat Nav has made life out on the road much easier and can provide you with as much or as little information as you want. Simple mapping from start to end is available along with points of interest on the way, safety camera alerts, music and even the ability to have humorous voice directions. A feature of many is the ability to view images and video too. They are not solely for the car owner, versions for the motorcycle are available too.
