This high power DC adaptor is designed to power popular brand laptop computers which require DC input from 15V to 24V whilst travelling in a car. The adaptor features overload and short circuit protection to protect it from damage. The additional USB charging socket can be used to power ancillary devices such as mobile phones etc. The laptop adaptor should only be used with laptops that have the exact same voltage requirement as those offered, and in addition, you must ensure that the current required by your laptop is not over that provided by the amps that the adaptor provides at the correct voltage setting. If, however, your laptop requires less or equal amps to those provided at the correct voltage, then it is ok to use.
All laptop and USB power tips are moulded in such a way to provide a centre positive polarity - please check this matches your equipment before use
