Simply plug the transmitter into up to two of your AV appliances and plug the receiver into the SCART socket of the TV. The audio and video will then be transmitted to the second TV wirelessly. For maximum convenience, the unit also relays the signals from your remote control back to the source so you can use your normal remote control to change satellite channels etc from the other room. The transmitter and receiver both have 3 phono plugs (video, L/R audio) so they can be used for many applications including PCs, laptops and projectors.

Customer Reviews on this Product
gabriel (24/08/2009)

Bought this as my older 2.4ghz was getting too much interference from other wireless appliances in the house. Got it connected to sky box in bedroom and to receiving tv in the kitchen within 15mins.Was simple to set up and had all connections supplied. Had to change the channel setting on the units to get the best picture. The signal is being sent through 2 maybe 3 concrete walls and also wooden floor. The remote relay works great too.Something to remember is that if you want to use the remote sender is that the receiver has to be in view as the sensor is on the front of it. Apart from that I have not had any issue with the item and would recommend it to anyone who does not have aerial sockets in each of their rooms and doesn't want to drill holes to fit a sky eye with co-axial. Bought this at sale price of £59.99 and is reasonable compared to others on the market for £80plus. I have yet to try the 2 input as only require the one for Sky

Frequently Asked Questions

Q- can you choose which source you watch from the 2nd room? - Danny

Answer- The receiver has an input switch on it that will change which devcie you are currently viewing. Further dtails can be found in the manual available for download on this page.

Q- Could you tell me where and how the sender unit plugs in. I am using a Sky + Box? Also will this sender interfere with the wifi system already in use in my house? Sorry to be soo ignorant about this technology. Thanks, Sean - sean

Answer- the transmitter will plug into the second scart output from your sky box and the receiver into the scart socket of the tv you wish to watch. there should be no interference between this product and your router as most wireless networks operate on 2.4GHZ and this operates on 5.8GHz

Q- What does set ID code of 433Mhz IR extender mean? - Jenny

Answer- This is for using more than one unit at the same time without interference. Ensure that they are both set to the same frequency.

Q- I have a virgin media V+ box. Can I plug this unit in and receive on another TV. Regards - Richard Gulliver

Answer- Yes the product does support that.

Q- Will this work with freeview tuner that is integrated into the TV and not on a separate box with an output scart? - Julie Owen

Answer- not unless the TV has the ability to output via one of the scart connections.

Q- Does this product work with all satellite recievers etc and will it allow me to change channels from the remote station? - Karl

Answer- The unit will send video and audio but the remote capability would be down to the type of box you have. If the box is an IR remote control unit then yes it will work with these senders, if it is an IRDA unit then the remote function will not operate (if unsure it is recommended to check with the receiver manufacturer first).

Q- Will this unit be able to send AV from a games console? - Matthew

Answer- As long as said console outputs via a composite video connection then yes it should be fine

Q- How does the picture quality of this model compare with the HQ 5.8GHz Video Sender Kit? - Mike Davies

Answer- This is very much the same quality level as the single input 5.8Ghz senders

Q- could I use this with anwireless camera instaed of its existing sender etc? - Dave

Answer- No sorry this product does not support that.

Q- Can this be used to transfer my PC output to my TV? - Alex

Answer- if your PC has an AV composite video output then yes
