A comprehensive camera security solution, Sentient DVR recording kit comes preinstalled with a 160GB HDD giving you the freedom to capture all the activity you want.
The 160GB DVR recording kit is equipped with 2 outdoor cameras to which an additional 2 can be added and all 4 can function simultaneously. You have the option to customize the recording by setting a 24 hour recording schedule, based on your preferences. You can choose to have the DVR record continuously during the day, then record only when motion is detected at night. Alternately, you could create specific motion-detection zones those records only when activity is detected in that particular area. And since each camera is equipped with night vision, you can view and record in total darkness. This DVR can record four different camera views simultaneously and play it back at a smooth 30 frames per second.

Customer Reviews on this Product
Bruce R
(19/11/2009)
Take it out of the box, plug it in and it works. Installation is intuitive, however, setting it up to do what you want is not so easy. The interface is very primitive and requires very careful study of the manual and then a lot of trial and error. The biggest problem is the noise from the hard disc. It hums and whirrs even when not recording, much louder than my computer, but it is great value. The IR sensors in the cameras glow bright red so they are very obvious to anyone nearby.

This machine has everything that i need. I am more than pleased with the product AND the price.
It is very easy to install and the cameras have surprised me. Very clear, very good night vision and a very good broad and long scan.
Happy?..You bet i am.

I bought this about 6 weeks ago and have added 2 more cameras. So far it has recorded about 50% of the disc. It has exceeded my expectations so far and rate it 4+. Only failing is the poor rewind facility.
