A miniature ceramic
capacitor with a cement-coated case. Values up to and including 220pF are suitable for temperature compensation in tuned circuits where low losses, close tolerance and high stability are required. Values from 270pF to 4700pF are for use in coupling and decoupling applications, where a non-linear change of capacitance with temperature is permissible. Values 10,000pF and 22,000pF are suitable for use in coupling and decoupling applications, where capacitance stability is not critical.
