The stabilised output with low ripple and low interference prevents outside factors such as a poor mains supply from affecting the unit, whilst short circuit and overload protection offer reassurances for those using even the most expensive of laptops. The unit has an LED indicator to show when it is powered and is supplied complete with a mains lead approximately 1.3 metres in length. The lead connecting the power supply to your laptop is approximately 1.7 metres in length. The eight power tips supplied should cover the vast majority of laptops on the market, but for peace of mind a compatability guide is included in the box. The power tips are moulded in such a fashion that they can only be inserted one way round, providing a centre positive polarity. Before use, please check that this matches the polarity required by your laptop and if in any doubt, seek professional guidance.
