Great little unit, the description is a little misleading, as the four 'small' flower part can put you off. It basically splits the light and emits around 50 beams of light from the mirror that hit the walls and floor (depending on angle). They are coloured 'blocks' that rotate in four circles and move around. I have mine mounted on the ceiling and close to the sound system.
The best effect is with a smoke machine, only a little smoke is required to see the beams coming from the machine, and it looks very good.
You need to mount them fairly far forward though, as although the beams do travel a fair distance (>13ft) even with it angled heavily to the dance floor a lot of the beams come straight down below the unit. I would say well worth the sale price.
