Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought this fan before reading the other review and was rather concerned, however, now I have fitted it I am at a loss as to why it was so poorly reviewed. It may (but only just) be slightly louder although I am not sure if it's just imagination. The box however was mislabelled, saying it was 12/24V - it's actually 12V. The amperage can only be found indicated on the fan itself @ 0.48A. It has a third wire(apart from +ve & grnd) which I assume to be a speed sensor - unneeded in my case. So in summation, the fan is perfectly adequate although info is misleading/missing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this fan to replace the original one that failed in my desktop PC. I went for the cheap and cheerful option to save money without considering the dB rating. The fan was very loud, so much so that after two days I decided to write off the cost of buying this fan and bought a more expensive (and quieter one from Maplin). It was so loud that my kids started referring to the computer as "The aircraft"!
