Built in obsolescence
When it worked the weather forecasting element was pretty useless (pressure never changed and it always predicted overcast days) and now it won't read the outside sensor although I have changed the batteries, reset the sensor and done the pairing process. I have had it about a year. This is a bit of a toy and you would be better off with something else.
I bought this a few weeks ago. Looked pretty good and was a decent price, but unfortunately the quality has been disappointing. It keeps losing connection with the remote sensor (even though it is literally a few feet away), and the LCD screen isn't great either. I will probably return it for a refund.
The remote signal would not pair with the master unfortunately.
The main unit is excellent, with reasonably accurate display of information. However the remote sensor is very unreliable. I have had two of these weather stations now, and in each case the remote sensor stopped working after 14 - 18 months, new batteries make no difference, nor does placing the sensor right next to the receiver. Shame. I cannot recommend buying this device.
I purchased this item around 4 years ago whilst living on a narrowboat. Moved into a house 3 years ago, and apart from needing to replace both unit batteries, it is still providing faultless service with accurate readings.
Outside sensor gave up ghost after 9 months. New battery made no difference. Disappointed.
I purchased this weeks ago, since then I have tried and tried and tried again to get the outside transmitter to be recognised by the main unit. I have changed batteries not only in the outside unit but the main unit as well. I have pressed the yellow button to reset the outside unit and used the ADJ button on the main unit in an effort to search for the outside unit all to no avail. As I write this the temp inside is a nice warm 20.4 degrees, and the outside is shown as 22.7 degrees the same as it always has been since I bought this.
Outdoor sensor is poor quality. My first one broke after 13 months - the outdoor sensor stopped working. The replacement broke in the same way after 24 hours.
Had one of these for several years and it worked fine until now. I have just bought a replacement as the outdoor sensor finally died. I fitted the batteries and the new unit was up and running within a few minutes. Its easy to use and reliable in my opinion.
The first one lasted 8 months but then I bought two more than failed within hours. Not reliable

Does the weather station support more than 1 external sensor? If yes are these supplied or can they be purchased? regards Edward

Is the external sensor weatherproof?
hi could you tell me what sort of distance you can have between the inside/outside unit thanks
Is the external sensor supplied when you buy the weather station?

Can this be wall mounted?
Can the "Sender" unit be supplied separately ? I have two of these weather stations which are otherwise OK. I suspect that one of the senders was affected by an electrical storm, the other one got wet.

Is there any possibility of interfacing the weather station with a PC?
