How easy is this multimeter to use?
This multimeter is simple to use and read. Depending on the job at hand, you turn the dial to what you are wanting to test or measure and the screen will display the reading. The auto ranging function of this multimeter means you won’t even need to set a range to test for, it will do that for you. The ‘data hold’ button allows you to continue displaying the reading even after removing the test probes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic little multimeter and easy to use. Even better at the price too. The only flaw is that the test leads are too short and they can not be replaced as they are hard wired in the the tester. If the leads were longer it would undoubtedly be 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A worthwhile purchase. I've had this meter about two weeks now and as I repair various electronic items and electrical equipment I thought that this would be an ideal addition to my kit. The many features of this tester made it an obvious choice (the price helped a bit too). I especially like the capacitor function which has proved to be fairly accurate over all the ranges tested so far. I was concerned that the leads would be too short as suggested in another review but found them to be more than long enough for my requirements. The inclusion of a 'holster' will help to protect it from those little knocks that I'm sure it will have. Over all, a very useful and versatile addition to my tool box. Now about that frequency range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price. I brought this multimeter because I needed to check a 38khz signal and my other one which was twice the price only went to 20khz. This little gem can go to 10mhz so its far exceeds what I required and I have found myself using it rather than the more expensive one I have, mainly because it does not have the annoying habit off shutting off mid way through a test. As was already said above the leads are a little short and permanently fixed into unit but I think you cant expect too much for the price.

This meter reads mv, is it sensitive enough to read the voltage in a persons body when they ground/earth themselves for health reasons ?, to see the body voltage you hold one lead of the meter and the other lead is connected to earth via water pipe etc.

Asked by: Dave
You will see a reading however the resolution of such a meter is not accurate enough to give a steady or reliable result.

Pocket multimeter what battery does it take

Asked by: dave
A 9V PP3 battery could not possibly fit. Notwithstanding the description, this meter actually uses a 3V CR2032 lithium battery.
