How big is the motor gearbox?

This compact motor gearbox fits into projects and is small and light enough for model building, weighing just 75g and measuring only 27mm x 27mm x 50mm (67mm including shaft). Designed to run on 12 to 24 Volts with a 30:1 ratio, this motor provides torque up to 488 g.cm (0.048 Nm) as well as a fast rotary speed up to 543 rpm, suitable for a wide range of uses. Easily mounted with the attached mount and capable of running in either direction based on the input power polarity.

What can I use my gearbox and motor for?

This small metal motor with its built-in gearbox is ideal for projects and application were space is at a premium. The built-in gearbox can increase your turning power (torque) at a reduced rotations per minute from the motor. The optimum ratio for this will depend on your project. Designed to fit into a range of hobby, modelling, R&D, educational and even small scale industrial projects and products. This solidly constructed steel and brass motor is mounted on a 1mm thick steel bracket to prevent movement while it’s working. The motor and gearbox incorporates a high quality three pole motor with sintered bronze bearings and has a 4 mm diameter central output shaft.

Is it possible to reverse the direction of this motor by swapping the input polarity?

You can reverse the unit but we have no RC speed controllers for the item.

Do you have a battery/mains adaptor that will work with this motor (24v)

Is this a permanent magnet DC motor? Can it be used as a generator?

Hello got a motor same as description , looked to find specs on website to no avail, reason i as is looking for similar size motor gearbox which has similar speed but more torque , i intend to use on radio control model battery voltage of 7.2v thanks

There is a table to cover the basic spec on the webpage, for example it shows at 6V the rpm would be approx 140, and the torque of the motor is 600 gf.cm
