Product details

Mindsets Stereo Amplifier Solder Kit

• Boost a stereo audio signal
• Comes with a 3.5mm jack input and two speakers
• Simple to solder with five parts
• Requires four AA batteries (not included, Order Code L43AL) or a 3-6V power supply (not included)

What can I do with this kit?
Boost an audio signal from 3.5mm audio devices like an MP3 player, and play it through two speakers. Amplify your sound up to 1W using the 8 ohm 0.5W speakers and a 6V power supply. With two channels, you can listen to a stereo device with the stereo 3.5mm socket. You can also use the secondary input connections for separate wired left and right inputs. This kit requires a 3-6V power supply and comes with a four AA battery box (batteries not included – Order Code L43AL).

What is in this kit?
This kit comes with a board, two speakers and a battery box as well as wire and connectors. The components on the board comes pre-soldered with push terminals for the speakers and a power supply to connect to. The board takes the incoming signal and amplifies it without changing the pattern so that the speakers can convert it to music. The board comes pre-soldered with this kit, but you will still need a soldering iron
and solder to attach the speakers.

How easy is this kit to solder?
All the tricky soldering is done for you all that is left is to connect the 5 parts together. The soldering remaining can be done by any ability level. With convenient mounting holes, you can fit this 34mm x 30mm board in almost anywhere.

The board supplied with this kit is totally different to the one shown online, the voltage range is different and there is no explanation of how to use the optional input connections, do I have to cut any tracks to use this option?

Asked by: meldrew
Sorry but I could not give advice on how to assemble or how to modify design projects.
