A range of plug-in signal amplifiers for use with TV, FM and Digital (DAB) Radios, when fed from a suitable aerial. The amplifiers can also be used to link a satellite receiver to a TV and/or a video recorder. These units are housed in an attractively styled box fitted with a mains lead for plugging directly into a 13A socket. Unlike most on the market these amplifiers have a digital bypass built-in. If you are using a Sky remote control extender such as our PT73Q, regular amplifiers prevent them from working.Make sure that everyone in your household can watch TV from the comfort of their own space. This complete kit will transmit digital TV to another room in your house easily and without any fuss and any mess. You also get the benefit of a higher frequency of 5.8GHz to stop interference from other items such as cordless phones and wireless networks.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific product! About 18 months ago I bought a NIKKAI 6 way booster from Maplins. It worked initially, connected to 4 outlets and then started giving problems on performance. Eventually signal was too poor to use - I thought it it was just bad luck and that the thing had failed, all the TVs seemed to work ok on direct feed to the aerial. I just bought the NIKKAI 4 way as replacement - A72JH. When I connected everything up, the red surge protection light came on (there is no surge protection led on the 6 way box). By a process of elimination I determined which port was setting this off and started the process of disconnection to work out where the fault was downstream. I finally concluded that the Telly was at fault - a Technika LCD22-218, bought from Tesco. I replaced the telly and the surge protection light went out and stayed out. The telly giving the red light is now out of service; it does actually work on its own directly connected to the aerial, but it could be what was causing all the problems. Unfortunately it is now out of guarantee. Well done A72JH 4 way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent piece of kit I bought this to replace a 15 year old aerial amplifier. I unplugged the cables from the old one, plugged them into the new, shiny piano-black Nikkai device. I plugged it into the mains and all of my devices had a perfect signal once again. The instruction sheet has diagrams for the various configurations you might require. I am now running a 4K TV & PVR, a 1080p TV and a USB TV stick on the laptop. The remaining output is for an FM feed to a radio - when I've made-up a cable for it. In the box you will find 2 screws in a small packet; these are for mounting on a wall (or the back of a TV stand); the device just slots over the screw heads. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to split their aerial feed to multiple devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of kit I purchased the amplifier a few weeks ago. Installed it in loft and it worked extremely well. The only problem that I had was with a Samsung television. When I plugged the aerial lead in the amplifier showed a red light on the short circuit protection. Apparently this is common with certain types of television and is not truly a short circuit. It is caused by the design of the TVs. It is possible to correct. Look on google for solution.

Why when I connect a tv to it does it flag the short light up when there is no short in the cable itself?
