I have to agree with Bob. The switch is an illogical sequence. As an electronics engineer I suspect the device was originally designed for use with a white light LED and modified. However, the UV function is useful and the size is ideal for a keyring. Shame about the switch.
Not that great
This keyring torch is pretty useless. It's so dull it barely seems as though it's on and the target area is so small you can only view an area the size of a pea when you get the chance. I do not recommend it unless you intend on using it somewhere totally void of light.
This Uv keyring torch is ideal for taking on holiday because you may need this uv for detecting fake currency, fake ID I truly recommend this product to anyone like my self that wants to detect fake currency.
UV torch was excellent as we did a security marking on childrens bike in the Pontardawe area and they could all see where we had writen on their bikes thanks for a great device
I wanted a small touch to check bank notes and this looked ideal. However it has a SILLY arrangement to turn it on. One push turns it on push it again and flashes push a third time and it flashes faster one last push it it turns off. Whoever thought of that idea must have shares in batteries. Mine only lasted a few days before the batteries where completely dead. As it was attached to my keys (it IS a key ring) it must have got turned on and stayed on until the batteries went flat. Why not have a touch that only comes on when you push the button?

Hi, I have had a dye put into my car air con as it it leaking. This dye shows up under UV light and will reveal the leak. Can you say if your UV keyring torch will show this dye so that I can find the source of the leak? Cheers Alwyn

Is this item primarily a UV checker rather than a torch, or is it dual purpose?
Is there information as to the exact wavelength this UV LED torch is?
