Description

What is the advantage of having an omnidirectional cardioid microphone?
Cardioid microphones are sensitive from the front, meaning they pick up the clearest, quality audio from whatever is positioned in front of them. In contrast, omnidirectional microphones are sensitive to sound arriving from all angles. Mixing the two means that the microphone will pick up sounds from all angles but still isolate unwanted ambient sounds. Omnidirectional cardioid microphones are often used in recording podcasts, vocal audio and with Skype chats. They can also be used for recording musical instruments.

What position does the microphone pick up sound from?
The microphone has three settings to choose from, making it a suitable solution in a variety of situations. The microphone can be set up to detect audio from a single direction, two directions, or from the entire room.

How would I use this microphone?
This microphone has a range of recording options to allow you to record high quality sound for a variety of purposes such as podcasts, two way interviews, meetings, performances, voiceovers and more. The microphone connects directly into your USB and is simple to set up, allowing you to start recording in minutes.
