Hi just recived order, there are no markings for polarity...only thing noticed is there are two dot like plastic scruff to one side. Please advice. Many thanks.

Asked by: bstars
Polypropylene capacitors are not polarised. Typically only electrolytic capacitors are polarised in which case the anode will be clearly marked. The following article may prove helpful.

Will this replace the X2 capacitor in my Flymo lawnmower switch which is 0.22uF 280V 40/85/21 ?

Asked by: ToonGoneDoon
It is advisable to replace capacitors with an exact replacement, while you can occasionally run with a higher voltage unit it is not recommended and can cause issues. Unfortunately we do not have a 280v version available.

There are 2 different images for this item! 1 looks the same as for N69CN. the other (grey) is smaller than the dimensions given. I was wanting 1 to the dimensions stated. Please can you explain?

Asked by: pedro
the reason for this is , the first picture on the web site is the current one we have in stock, and the gray one is an older product.
