I expected my RY85 case fan to arrive with 2 wires. It has 3 (the yellow is the tacho control). Can I connect the RY85 to my 2 wire system (+12vdc) using the red and black wires but leave the yellow unconnected and expect to fan to run at full speed.?

Asked by: Staffy
Yes you can. The Yellow wire is for speed measurement and can be left disconnected
