Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low Voltage lighting transformer I recently purchased this transformer to replace the original one which died unnecessarily(!!), after only 16 years of service : when I opened the old one parts of it had been getting hot... this new one was lighter and asserted it was delivering 11.5 volts instead of the original one which claimed 12V. As you can see from the photograph it is plenty adequate for the job - incidentally only 5 of the lights in the picture are 20W 12V swivel spotlights - the middle one and the 4 "corners" - the others are 35W mains powered fitted later. The transformer was easy to fit and slotted neatly into the gap left by the old one - aparet from extra ventilation now provided!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this to replace a defunct transformer in a Belling cooker hood. Much lighter than the original and works well. Belling don't supply this spare part so I took a chance and I'm very pleased with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Size changed - beware Bought one of these as replacement for light fitting - checked size from the 'questions' section, but supplier has changed and new longer part will not fit my light. Would be helpful if actual sizes were included in the product data.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Broke after 2 hours I purchased one of these, connected it up to 4 low voltage down lights. It lasted about 2 hours then broke. I then replaced it in store and wired up the new one. This one has also only lasted 2 hours. Poor.

This is a 105W transformer so 4 50W bulbs would overload this.
