About this product

Overview

Product overview

• Large robust heavy duty toggle switch
• Chrome plated dolly
• 6.35mm spade connections

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feedback to previous Review Not bought this yet, but if it's a 2 pole changeover, then DPDT is the correct description. I think the previous reviewer was looking for a centre-off switch, possibly as per JK30H

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Switch, Maplin Code JK29G Described as a toggle switches DPDT E (Double Pole Double Throw) BUT they are NOT. These switches have only a single "throw" in other words just two positions.

Are the tags solderable ? Will the plastic case withstand the heat of soldering, or should female spade connectors be used ?

Asked by: Mick
The spade terminals are not solderable, but you could wrap the wire then solder the wire.

Sorry for my ignorance, but how can this be a double pole, double throw switch with only 3 pins? I assume a pin means an external electrical connection?

Asked by: Zelphium
Please note we do use pictures for display purposes only, so the item will be correct to the spec rather than the picture on this occasion, a DPDT should have 4-6 pins depending on its function.
