• Suitable for loads up to 7A (80W solar panel)

A 7A charge regulator designed to control the charging process from the solar panel to the battery as well as the power drawn from the battery to feed the outputs.

Therefore keep the whole solar system at proper working condition.
All solar panels generally require a voltage regulator to ensure that the battery is not overcharged.

The charge regulator is an electronic controller that switches on the connection to the batteries solar cells if the battery is empty and switches off again when the battery is fully charged.

It provides over-charging, over-discharging, short circuit, over-load and reverse polarity protection, therefore ensuring your solar system works at best capacity.

Hi, I have just bought an LED tricolour masthead nav light, and have been told these units fail quickly (within hours) because of more than 12 volts going into them. Would this unit regulate the output to the LED lights to max 12 volts? Many thanks

Asked by: Black Diamond
As long as the input voltage and amperage do not exceed the maximum specifications for the unit this should provide a regulated 12v output suitable for use with this light.
