I want to use this with my car cooler box which says 48 watts. I've tried to look on a watt/amps converter but couldn't calculate it. If it says 48 watts is that too high for the device?

Asked by: jandfaz
Unfortunately this would not be suitable to run a coolbox.

In principle, does this product work by getting power from the wall plug (main supply of 240V) and then powering a mobile phone or any accessory that can plug into a car?

Asked by: ehsun786
Yes, this is correct.

I have been told that adapter for the 12v accessory socket ac/dc power will not work with car vacuum. Is there a product that will work with the car vacuum cleaner.

Asked by: kirkmes
On this occasion Maplin do not stock a product that exactly meets your requirements, or indeed anything close enough to offer you as an alternative.

Asked by: Alex
I'm afraid we are unable to guarantee this without knowing the ampage, this can power items at 12v 1A.
