does this buzzer operate by simply connecting to 12volt DC or does it need a special circuit

Connect direct to 12v Dc circuit not necessary. If connecting as headlight on reminder connect + wire to park light or Park light fuse and - to any wire that has juice wen ignition is on. Wen u switch off car and headlight is on it will buzz wen u switch headlight off it stop buzzing

Can these buzzers be safely connected to the indicator wiring on a 2010 Fiat DUCATO.

Yes + to indicator wire and - to ground when the indicator is flashing the buzzer will sound

The spec say 12v but do not mention ac or dc. Would this be suitable for 12vAC?

Why does the title of this part say it's 12V but the specification says 6V (4 to 9V)? What is the maximum voltage it can be driven at?

Would this buzzer be suitable to wire in series with a trailer hookup to provide reassurance that the trailer board lights are working? Or is there another buzzer that would be suitable?
