Rated 1 out of 5 by from garbage needed a power supply immediately so bought this in store comes with 6 connectors, all of the pins were bent and had to be coerced to fit the lead. 2 of them are trs I don't think I have ever seen anything take a trs connector for power, maybe I have just had a sheltered upbringing. none of the barrel connectors were the right size, the only one that fit is so loose it weeble wobbles around and falls out sometimes. big bright blue led on the front which is why it cost 20£ I guess? great for burning your eyes out and annoying you in a dark room. no mention of this on the box and all of the pictures on the box are taken with it hidden. on the positive side it didn't immediately blow up in my hand when I plugged it in. I suppose it will do until I can order a real one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Analogue Synthesizer Power The standard DC supply for the Eurorack Synthesizer format is +12v/+5v and -12v DC. I have six of the Maplin L48BL Power Supplies feeding various cabinets in my Synth set-up. My original system used mains power with internal transformers within each cabinet, but I often experienced worrying tingles when connecting modules across different cabinets! The L48 feeding 'Tiptop' or '4MS' power modules is the ideal safe system, the blue LED showing a correct supply

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant and friendly help from Kingston branch A major crisis was averted in my office through the purchase of this adaptor for our router. Despite a powercut in the branch, the lovely staff checked the plug fit and that the power worked.

Hi I'm looking for Input :100-240v~50/60Hz 1.0A Output 24v =1.0A

This unit will deliver the voltage and current you require https://www.maplin.co.uk/p/power-pax-30w-switched-mode-acdc-fixed-voltage-24v-power-supply-n11nb be very careful with regard to polarity, this unit uses centre polarity, make sure the device you wish to power also uses centre positive polarity. WARNING: If you connect DC power with incorrect polarity you will destroy your device.

I am looking for a power supply for a Dave Smith Mopho synth. It has 13-15 VDC (+ centre pin) 220mA written next to the power input. Will your L48BL switched 15v (1.2A) DC output plug be OK to use for it? Many thanks - Bernard

Asked by: Bernard
It can be used but you need to ensure you use the right tip with the correct polarity, if you connect with incorrect polarity you will destroy your item.

can this be used instead of a euro multi volt adaptor for piece of kit needing 15v tip positive given that the euro adaptor is 15v 3800 mA.  This euro adaptor is a german multi volt adaptor so not specifically made for the piece of kit I want to charge.
