Folding ThinPlug to Fig. 8 Mains Power Lead, 1.92 m. ThinPlug is a newly designed and patented award winning UK folding plug. Its unique feature is the double-jointed earth pin. In closed position, the earth pin is housed within the central column connected to the main body, and lies horizontally flat between the neutral and live pins. This is the world smallest 13amp plug fitted with a figure8 socket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Thin and Folding UK 3 Pin Plug I purchased one of these cables to go with my very small and thin travel power supply for my laptop, which takes the figure of eight connector. Because the plug is thin and folds flat, it takes up less space and does not dig into the laptop when travelling. Works like a dream, no idea why they are not supplied as standard with travelling power supplies etc.

Is this plug completely safe to take a 13 Amp fuse? The website description mentions 13 Amp a few times, but the packaging shows only 3 Amp fuse, and the wording on the plug itself is Thin Plug 250V/3A. Product looks amazing, by the way. Thank you.

Why isn't it suitable for Surface Pro3 power supply? Socket on power supply is for IEC-320 type C7 ‘figure-of-8’.

We do not sell the item in question so have no stock to check, upon an image search on-line its shown with a different type of connector, so we provided the advice on that basis, but of course if you are looking at a figure of 8 cable and the device you have takes a figure of 8 plug this will be fine.
