A thermal fuse which will protect equipment from excessive temperature rises. It is not resettable and must be replaced if ‘blown’. NOTE: when installing any of these devices, never solder directly to the wire leads – you must use screw terminals, terminal blocks or crimped on connectors.

On a thermal fuse what does the term TF 142 degrees mean? Can this item replace a Sheng Ping SPF 139 Thermal fuse?

It is likely that the term refers to fuse type, in this case thermal/temperature fuse rated at 142 degrees celsius. As this is not a direct replacement for the 139 degree rated fuse you are replacing we cannot guarantee this as a suitable alternative as it has a higher rating meaning a higher temperature before failing.
