I have a Canadian i pad. Can I plug a 3pin USA style plug into this product. if not what invertor adaptor plug do I need

Asked by: Mikey
This would depend entirely on the voltage and wattage of the charger. Take a look on the plug, if you see the input voltage as 110-240V you will be able to use a normal adapter without a voltage converter. If the input voltage is 110-120V then you will need a voltage converter appropriate for the wattage of the charger, this should also be stated on the original plug. If the wattage is below 45W this will work fine.

I am purchasing some LED Christmas lights with a wattage of 2.4W and 0.02A - even if I connect 12 sets together (as they're designed to do) this would make 28.8W and 0.24A - is this suitable?

Would I be able to use a Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer, bought in the US, with this converter?

Asked by: Phil
This devices MAX LOAD is 45 watts. You need to check the wattage of the device you intend to use. I'm pretty sure the Kitchen Aid is at least a 700w motor which means you would need something like this to use it in the UK. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/tacima-230v-to-110v-1000w-voltage-converter-n54hf
