Product overview

• Glass tube, fast-acting with nickel finish brass end caps
• 5mm diameter

A fuse with nickel-finish brass end caps, overall size 20 x 5mm diameter. Designed to IEC127 with SEMKO, UL, BSI and VDE approvals. Rated at 250Vac with a breaking capacity of 35A. The current rating is the max capacity of which the fuse wire will blow. The breaking capacity is where the whole fuse would blow. Supplied in packs of 10.

I removed the T250Ma fuse from my technics sl1210 turntable, but i cant find any references regarding quickblow. i've also seen these fuses sold as slowblow, but cant find a guide as to which is better for my turntable, or indeed if either is correct ?

If the fuse does not contain what looks like a visible spring and just has a wire between the two points, then it is quick blow. The slow blow has a spring, to allow for a higher starting load for a short period of time.
