Rated 2 out of 5 by from 250V push button locking switch Bought to replace a similar spec switch on an old vacuum cleaner. Beware! Its very fragile- while tightening up the locking nut with small pair of pliers, the nut suddenly came loose and I realised I had pulled the the threaded spigot out of the body! Am about to return it and try to get a replacement- would prefer something stronger but this design has become very rare and have not found any alternatives that will fit. Will try to get away with hand-tightening and thread-lock next time..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good I bought this to make a footswitch for a friend, and it has been very good, the only problem is that it makes a very loud sound when it is pressed, but that is a minor thing. But I would recommend this strongly to anyone

Hi .does this 250vac 3A locking foot switch have an earth ?

Asked by: Graham
There is no earth contact on the switch, typically if such a device needs to be earthed you would use an earthing washer on the collar of the switch. a full datasheet for the device can be found here

hi , this switch is described as ''locking'' . will this switch operate in a similar fashion to your other stock item FH93B [ dp/dt f/switch ] . can you describe the difference in the ''locking'' description [if any] to the other dp/dt item number FH
