What is a surge protector?
Surge protectors help shield your devices and appliances from electrical spikes by attempting to limit the voltage passing through them. This is great for anything from lamps and TVs to computers and music equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st class 10way tower. Socket placings are angled to allow plugs with large transformers attached to sit next to each other. Brilliant, somebody has actually thought about it! Wanted an ordinary 10way @ ?ъ20, got this in the sale for less. Bargain. Surge protected as well. Small footprint for little corners. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a first class product. Wanted to tidily take the sockets behind my TV for Xbox, Sound Bar, Apple TV and Disk Recorder. Very sturdy on its square base, and the 2m cable winds around nicely under the base to provide different lengths of connection cable as required. Very sturdy and a well thought out design, sockets 5 on each side, 8 of which are angled to take the larger connection plugs. I can certainly recommend this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanna say that this product is HIGHLY recommended to all users, this is an amazing product, surge protect with 13Amp fuse as well as 2 Metre cable and the way the sockets are set out it helps in laying out the plugs accordingly.

Is this suitable to use with kitchen appliances such as toasters etc.,

Asked by: Meggie
As long as you are not drawing more than 13A at any one time then it will work fine.

Do you have an individually swiched tower

Asked by: lynda
On this occasion Maplin do not stock a product that exactly meets your requirements, or indeed anything close enough to offer you as an alternative. The surge protected towers we currently sell don't have individual switching, but we do stock regular extensions with the switches.
