Can you be specific in terms of wiring for this device? Google gives a mess of answers in different colours! I want to run primary from 240v and secondary from -12v 0 +12v. how exactly should I wire this?

I believe Roberts answer is incorrect. If the 12v windings are connected in series for 24v operation then the VA rating remains at 50 and 2 amps can be drawn without damage. Please confirm. Regards, David.

You are correct the part abbot VA rating does seem to be incorrect in series the VA would be 50.

wiring connections for this transformer

Asked by: Pablo
The two 115V inputs should be wired in parallel (be careful of phase) for 115V input or in series for 230V input. You can have two separate 12V outputs at 25VA, or they can be wired in parallel for 12v at 50VA or can be wired in series for 24V at 25VA. Google (images) 'toroidal colour code' for connections.
