How do the connections relate to a circuit? How would this be connected to an amplifier? What are the connections?
Asked by: Owen
The internationally agreed connections (AES14-1992(r1998)) are: Pin 1: Shield (Ground). Pin 2: Hot (In Phase/+). Pin 3: Cold (Out of Phase/-). Some older equipment (particularly American) reverses the pin 2 and 3 connections.
