Is this product a NO or NC relay? Thanks

Asked by: Dave01
A SPDT switch is a single pole double throw - meaning that you are switching a shared common terminal with 2 output contacts. 1 is always in contact and therefore when not powered one contact is closed, the other is open. You only need to worry about the setting of a switch when it is a 'single pole' or SP, in which case it will be specified NO or NC for open or closed.
