Hi, I need to connect an MP3 player from the headphone socket into the AUX DEV socket that is on the stereo of my car. Is this the correct lead for that purpose?
Asked by: Stewart Oxley
If the connection is 3.5mm stereo, then this should work fine.

The photo for this item shows only the connector at one end of the cable. Is the other end a male or female connector?
Asked by: Bill
The photo shows both ends - each end is a single stereo plug, i.e. the lead is male to male.

Can this be used to connect a walkman (personal stereo) that has a normal headphone jack into the line-out connector on a soundcard? I.e. to enable a PC to record a cassette tape?

Right cable, wrong PC socket! Use this lead to connect your walkman to the line INPUT on your PC's soundcard.
