Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power supply but if you run enough amps for the rear fan to kick in it is noisy if you are running radio equipment hooked to a microphone. BUT i recommend buying a 22mm pc fan with variable speed control, Put it on the lowest setting so its not noisy, lay it on top of the psu sucking air outwards not inward as you'll just get dust inside over the vent. Put blue tac in all 4 corners to keep it in place and cancel any vibration noise. And wire it into the 3mp connections. I can run high amps now and the rear fan never kicks in! and its quiet and cool. And doesn't void any warranty,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THe model i picked up was a Manson EP-925. The same PSU just badged with another logo. Rock steady performance, good 13.8V, adjustable with preset click at 13.8V. Heavy, but its a linear PSU with no noise, the fan is quiet. Very good reviews on the net about this, and you cant beat the price. Great PSU for HAM radio and CB work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Absolutely brilliant! Extremely reliable and dependable. So good that I bough one for use in the school physics department. No regrets whatsover and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it goes down to 3V not 0V. But hey, at only this price it is less than you could build a decent linear 25A supply for with a case and meters. THIS IS A TOTAL BARGAIN!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is working very well, and I am very happy with it; 9/10 it would of been 10 out of 10 if it would have done the ranges between 12 and 24 V DC. I use it for testing devices fitted to cars/trucks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Epic fail My out-of-warranty EP-925 (same item) failed with uncontrollable 20v+ showing on the meter. Voltage control just doesn't work any more. It would be safer to fail with 0v than 20+v!!!!! I was lucky: my ££££ rig wasn't smoked. Buy cheap, buy twice. Lesson learned.

About the two 3A supplies please: 1) Is the 25/30A rating inclusive of these 2 outputs, or are they additional? 2) Is the voltage of these two 3A supplies also set by the variable voltage control? 3) Are these two 3A supplies also regulated? Thank you.

is it safe to run this for 2 hours drawing 15 amps

Asked by: matthew
Yes it would be fine, the output current is determined by the voltage, the following info sheet contains a graph to highlight this. https://maplindownloads.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/rp10-4193.pdf

If I connect this to a load capable of drawing more than 30A will it limit to 25/30A or blow a fuse
