What materials do the 3Doodler 2.0 use?
The 3Doodler 2.0 prints using 3 mm ABS, PLA and Flexi materials, so your creations can be flexible or sturdy depending on the result you require. There are a variety of filament materials, finishes and colours available allowing for flexibility when making your 3D creations. Changing these materials is made simple thanks to the reverse filament buttons and ability to change the heat settings just as easily.

How easy is the 3Doodler 2.0 to set up and use?
The 3Doodler comes with everything you need to start printing right away. Simply plug in the 3D printing pen, insert one of the supplied filaments, let it heat up for approximately one minute and let your creativity do the rest.

How can I expand the 3Doodler 2.0?
The nozzle tips can be changed or replaced with a series of other extruding tips for more ways to improve your designs and bring creations to life. There are a number of products including a ribbon tip, a square tip, triangle tip, and 0.6 mm, 1 mm and 1.5 mm nozzles. They are available to purchase here.

You can also expand the 3Doodler 2.0 further with the 3Doodler foot pedal. It allows easy access to the 3D printing pen’s extrusion buttons, so you can keep your hands free and let your feet do the work. It also enables the pen to be held at any angle. It is available here.
Give your 3Doodler 2.0 a boost with the JetPack 2.0! It provides up to an additional two hours printing on a single charge. It is available here.

Where can I find stencils and resources for the 3Doodler 2.0?
Printing with the 3Doodler 2.0 gives you the freedom to draw and create anything you like. But if you’re short on inspiration you can use stencils to keep printing. Click here for learning resources.

Not suitable for the under 12s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun! This is an amazing step up from the original 3Doodler. Physically, the pen is much easier to hold, and has an additional ability to automatically feed the plastic without the need to constantly hold the button down - a simple double press on either of the speed buttons locks it in place. This is great for creating small motifs that you can use in card making, as well as larger stand alone objects. It can be used to decorate 3D Printed projects. You don't even need to be particularly artistic. If you can hold a pen, and trace around a design, you can use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing It is revolutionary! I don't know what to say other than its amazing it didn't take me long to work out how to use it and my imagination went wild

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not great Requires lots of fiddling with to get it working, regularly stops feeding plastic, which means you have to open up the inspection panel to remove the plastic wire. Definitely not as easy as the video makes out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work Does not feed plastic through. Useless. Check the Kickstarter site for this product where it comes from, this is not a one off, faulty design.

I got the 3D doodler 2.0 as a present. It was bought in the U.S. With a U.S. Plug however I'll be using it in the UK. Can I use it with a plug adapter or will I need a voltage converter? Thanks!

Asked by: Emily
You would need a voltage and wattage converter.
