Perfect for doodling robots, spacemen and making your own jewellery, this grey filament (3DS-EC008-GREY-24) is compatible with the 3Doodler Start. The filament is 2.5mm in diameter and comes in 150mm lengths to fit the 3Doodler Start. The Eco-Plastic remains mouldable for a few seconds after printing so you can perfect your doodles.
What’s in this pack?
The pack contains 24 strands of grey filament for your 3Doodler Start. For every inch of filament strand, the 3Doodler can produce up to 10 inches of doodle for you to create with. The Eco-Plastic is only compatible with the 3Doodler Start.
Eco-Plastic has been developed to melt at a very low temperature, just 60°C instead of the 190+°C that PLA and ABS become workable. This low temperature means that you don’t have to worry about touching the filament or 3D printer pen as you draw. The Eco-Plastic is compatible with the 3Doodler DoodleBocks for more ways to have fun creating.
Storing my filament when not in use
Get the most out of your filament by storing it in a dry and dust-free environment. To get the best quality doodle every time, store your filament in a sealed container or bag with an added sachet of silica gel – as moisture can create problems with printing and reduce the lifespan of the filament. It’s easy to reuse the filament strands – just trim off the part-melted end for a better feed and get start creating all over again.
