Product overview

• High quality SMD 3528 LEDs with 120° beam angle
• 60 LEDs/m (4.8 Watts/m) cutting points every 3 LEDs (5 cm)
• 3M™ Self-adhesive tape backing for easy mounting
• Power supply included - just position the tape and plug in
• IP65 rated – ideal for alcoves, kitchens, bathrooms, caravans or vehicles

A cost-effective LED tape package that includes 5 metres of tape with 60 LEDs per metre, and a 12 V power supply to drive the tape. The tape itself has an epoxy resin coating which protects the LEDs from DMX, and also makes it IP65 rated. With cutting points every 5 cm should you require a shorter length; the tape can be cut and re-joined quite simply, although we do recommend this is only done by a qualified electrician. The self-adhesive 3M™ tape back allows for quick and simple installation in many applications including alcoves, kitchens, bathrooms, caravans or vehicles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Bought this for lighting under kitchen cabinets. Mechanically good, but very disappointed with the colour - decidedly pink, not anything like the warm white down-lighters I had hoped to match. No way would I describe this as "warm white" with a colour temperature of 2700k.

How do I join them, solder or do you stock jointers

Asked by: Grouser
You would solder these, there are solder tags at the cut points.

If this strip is cut up into a few smaller strips, does each one need a separate power supply or is there a way to power them from the same transformer

Asked by: AdamV
You can power the whole tape from a single power supply provided the power supply has sufficient wattage. You can make multiple cuts/joins along the length of the tape.
