Product overview

• 60mHz high-quality passive oscilloscope probe
• X1 and X10 setting selector
• Different termination options included
• Compensation adjustment is available
• Two channel identifier clips, spring loaded hook, ground lead, insulating tip, IC test tip, operating manual and insulated adjustment tool

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Limited compensation range Incompatible with Velleman WFS210 WiFi DSO (currently on special offer from Maplin as N71DP) and many older CROs. Be *ABSOLUTELY* *CERTAIN* your scope input capacitance is under 30pF as the probe has barely enough x10 compensation adjustment range to meet spec. If your using a scope that's nominally 30pF || 1Meg, you've got 50:50 odds it cant be calibrated and even a few pF of stray capacitance will make the x10 setting unusable. Otherwise it appears to be reasonably well made for the price point, though a choice of coloured probe ID rings would have been nice. Although the tip is replaceable, spares are not provided.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall good quality for the price, coax seems low-cost but is more than enough for 60MHz. Only drops to 25MHz on X1 so very versatile. Easily compensated with the included tool, trimmer is not set too deep in the probe body but the access hole is quite small. May not accommodate other trimming tools. Trimmer head is plastic and may not stand up to clumsy use. Accessories and attachments are affixed by means of a push-fit connection rather than threaded screw on. Strain relief on BNC conn. and probe support the minimum turn radius well.
